This isn’t the first time this line of blindboxed figures has been featured on Tikisaurus. This month, the third round of New Super Mario Bros. Wii chocolate egg candy/figures was released throughout Japan. Each box retails for 158 yen and contains a randomly assorted figure inside hollow milk chocolate.

This latest round once again contains 11 standard figures and one mystery figure. I took the plunge with one box today at Lawson’s and ended up with a Ludwig Von Koopa figure. He fits in nicely with my Roy and Lemmy figures.

The weather in Japan has cooled considerably compared to last week, but it’s still pretty damn hot. As you can see in the gallery below, the heat got to the chocolate before I could get home. Instead of putting it in the fridge to harden up, I ruined the sugary goodness and went straight for the figure which resulted in a terrible mess.
