The fundraiser on Assembler Games was a success! The $2,000.00 has been raised and the rom for Resident Evil GBA is now up for download, perfect for people who want some new RE fun before Revelations hits tomorrow.

I played the game briefly and honestly it wasn’t that bad. The graphics are dated, but you have to remember this was a Gameboy Color game. The tank controls don’t lend themselves well to a 2D game but they’re still manageable. The game plays remarkably close to its original counterpart. Even the dialogue is similar. It’s a fun treat, but I don’t see anyone playing this over REmake. Well maybe just hardcore fans.
