With the PS Vita release almost two weeks away, many of you may be wondering what games to get with your shiny new portable. But since no titles have been reviewed yet, how are we supposed to know which games are good?!?! No worries, we can always check the Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu. Since Japan is in the future, we can get our Vita reviews now. (Scored out of 40)

  • Hot Shots Golf 6: 34
  • Lord of Apocalypse: 34
  • BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend: 34

  • Shin Kamaitachi no Yoru: 35

  • Gravity Rush: 38

Looks like the choice is clear: Gravity Rush. Oh wait… that doesn’t come out in the U.S. till 5/30… d’oh. Let’s look at our launch titles:

  • Asphalt: Injection
  • Ben 10: Galactic Racing
  • Dungeon Hunter Alliance
  • F1 2011
  • Fifa Soccer
  • Hot Shots Golf World Invitational
  • Little Deviants
  • Michael Jackson: The Experience
  • ModNation Racers
  • Rayman Origins
  • Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
  • Uncharted: Golden Abyss
  • Virtua Tennis 4 World Tour
  • Wipeout 2048

Kind of unimpressive when compared to the awesomeness that is Gravity Rush. I mean Dungeon Hunter for the PS3 got a 6.0, and we can pretty much play all of these titles on our consoles. Golden Abyss will probably be the one gem in this entire collection. I think I’ll go for Hot Shots too. What do you guys think?

    Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom looks so good on the system. There’s a little bit longer loading, but only slightly on the handheld for it. It’s been dropping in price here already, I hate to say it, but that’s a definitely buy for me when I finally get around to making the purchase.

    im sure someone will find a way to port gravity rush to an ios device

      Gravity Rush/Daze even sounds like an ios title. Looking forward to that one. It’s coming out next week here.
